Once Upon A Time in Brooklyn…

Greetings CHATLIFE followers- I and the ChatAttak Productions have just recently had a very productive 2 week stay in Brooklyn, NYC. The stay resulted in me recording 3 videos (one actually filmed by me) and recording a new Hip Hop Reggae track with NYC Reggae artist Ruff Scott of Easy Star All Stars. Below is a screenshot pic from each of the videos with a brief description of each one. The first video (Dem Haffi Run) will be dropped on Thanksgiving day. Screenshot from “DEM HAFFI RUN” video- This will be the first video released on Thanksgiving day. This is a remix of the original version I released in April of this year. You can check that version here. This was filmed live & direct on the Eastern Parkway.

Screenshot from “BORDERLINE” video- Altho I did the editing for all 3 of the videos, this is the only one that I actually filmed myself. I filmed it in the area of Brooklyn I stayed in called Sunset Park. The area has a heavy Latino population as well as a industrial area by the waterfront which served as a great backdrop for the theme of the song. Will be the 2nd of the videos released….

Screenshot from “CROWN HEIGHTS AFFAIR” video- This was the third and final video I recorded this trip. This was also the one song I recorded there in the heart of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. This is a anthem to the area featuring resident and local Reggae artist- Ruff Scott. Ruff tours internationally as part of the NYC Reggae/Dub collective Easy Star All Stars as well as performs solo in the NY area. This track has a old skool 90’s Hip Hop Ragga flavor with sampled horn licks, steel drums and boom bap drums. The video was filmed primarily in Wingate Park in Crown Heights and will be released at the beginning of the year in 2020.
